Mistique Collective began with two best friends, a lot of notebooks, and a shared dream of creating something meaningful together.
We’re Kata and Klári. We met at university, and somewhere between conversations about creativity, work, the lives we wanted to build and the women we were becoming, the idea of Mistique Collective started taking shape.
Journaling had already been part of our lives for years. Not always in the perfectly curated morning-routine kind of way. Sometimes it meant pages of thoughts at midnight, a list scribbled between meetings, a sentence we needed to get out of our heads, a plan for the next six months, or a question we didn’t quite know how to answer yet. Thoughts forming meaning as they touched a page.
That is still the kind of journaling we believe in.
We created Mistique Collective because we wanted to make journaling feel natural again. Something you genuinely want to reach for when your mind is busy. Not homework. Not another wellness habit you are failing to maintain. Not a perfectly written account of your life for some imaginary future reader.
Something deeply intimate. Useful. Beautiful. A little addictive, in the best possible way. We believe clarity is created, not found. Writing is our preferred way to create it.
Our first planner grew from the belief that the notebook beside you every day could do much more than tell you where you need to be at 3pm. We wanted planning, reflection, imagination and everyday life to exist under the same cover. A place for appointments and ambitions, habits and half-formed ideas, practical lists and completely impractical dreams.
As we created it, one thing became increasingly clear: we were never interested in simply making stationery. We care about what happens when someone actually uses it.
Mistique is for the woman who has filled notebooks since she was thirteen and the woman who keeps buying beautiful journals but still feels intimidated by every first page. For the woman who brings intention into her rituals, appreciates beauty but craves functionality, and allows herself to keep evolving, courageously.
Because sometimes all you really need is a blank page, a good pen, and enough honesty to see what happens next.
Welcome to Mistique Collective.
